The database not being sync'd is the mod common or a variable issue. Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
Syncing the Database
The first resolution to try is to stop your server, then click on the "Update Database" button in the control panel.
This will make sure that all server variables are defined properly.
You should be able to now join your server.
If this is not the case, it could be a variable issue

After this, click "Save" and go back to the main control panel screen and click "Update Database"
Gamemode/Map Name

Here you can configure all your server core options easily
Make sure you read the descriptions of the options.
All skill options should have a .0 at the end, if this is removed your server will fail to start.

Gamemode/Map Name
Another potential reason for your server not starting up is that your gamemode/map's name has spaces in it.
If you wish to have spaces in your gamemode/map's name, please replace them with underscores because otherwise it won't load properly.
