The guide will show you how to configure your Colony Survival server.
1. Open the 'Configuration Files' section from your control panel.
2. Select the 'Configuration Editor' option next to 'Server.bat'
3. To customize your server to your preferences, refer to the configuration settings shown below and make the necessary changes when necessary.
Server Name Colony Server //Server name, exactly as it will be displayed in the in-game server browser.
Use Valve Anti-cheat //Yes to turn Valve's anti-cheat ON, No to turn Valve's anti-cheat OFF.
Seed 1765324 //Seed your world is based on - we advise using numerical characters only.
Monsters //On to turn monster's ON, Off to turn monster's OFF.
Double Monsters //On to turn double the monster's ON, Off to turn double the monster's OFF.
Initial Settings //Normal
World ColonySurvival //Name of your current server world - if you change this with a world already created on your server, your server will generate a new one with the new name.
Server Password //Server password, when set, must be entered by anyone who wants to join the server.
Rcon Password Example: y2i6y //RCON password, which must be entered by anyone who wants to perform RCON commands on the server.
